This photograph was taken after a long journey by foot on a rainy day in Paris, April 2008. This was not a staged shot nor was there any intent to create anything artistic- it was simply an attempt to editorialize the rather pathetic state of this pair of shoes. However, upon processing back in the U.S. when admiring the amazing detail and vibrant colors of the chair and carpet upon which the shoes sit, I realized that I had captured something special. ‘All-Stars’ is limited to 100 printings. Printed on premium quality metallic paper and mounted to plexiglass.
